“We are seeing things happen slowly, relearning to do things differently has been harder than we thought but we are in this for the long term.  ”P” is meeting ,praying and studying the word regularly with a guy in his flat. “L” has a group going with 2 friends from school that meets weekly now. “K”s daughter age 12 in Barnsley now meets with her friend. “K” and I are out on the streets each week praying for folk and looking for people of peace. Also people of peace are beginning to surface from amongst the Christian community who have been out of churches for a while and wanting to effectively reach and disciple those around them. we are encouraging them to do the training and then will continue to do monthly coaching with them on a Sunday night” (From Co-workers in Chester – full names omitted)

“I want to encourage you with the speed at which doing mission like Jesus actually works! This afternoon “S” and “P” went to the house of a man who has welcomed them in the past as they wondered if he is a man of peace, his name is “P”. They chatted with him and asked if they could meet again to talk about Jesus and did he have friends who’d be interested? He is gathering his friends and they will meet next week. “L” who hasn’t even been to training or a vision day but just had that brief explanation on Tuesday afternoon decided to give it a go today a street away from “S” and “P”. She brought her friend “S” who is very pregnant and they called at “I”s house, they chatted for a while and “L” felt it was not going to work and “S” needed to leave. At the door on the way out “S”s shoe needed buckling and “I” got down on her hands and knees and buckled her shoe. “L” felt the Lord speak about “I” being a servant and when “I” stood up “L” said, ‘I would you ever like to meet up to talk about God? “I’d like to do that’. “I” replied, ‘Really, oh that would be wonderful. She now needs to round up some of her friends. Strangely they also arranged to meet up at the same time next week. If you google the name Irene it means ‘peace’. Paul means ‘small’. “Just did 1st sign of john with “D”. Then after I asked question 4… he invited “A” to join in. We did 1st sign of john again with her with “D” playing bible on his phone. Now they will invite “A”s dad next time we meet up! God is good! Youversion bible app is also v good – rapidly spreadable! They both have it on their phones now!  “Amazing time with you all here in Nottingham! The Kingdom has advanced tremendously here… I hope you realise the significance of what you have seen and helped to make happen! After an intense week of mission and spiritual warfare we are now following up in one area alone with at least 4 potential people of peace who have welcomed team members into their homes. This is all just in area that would be considered some of the “hardest ground” in the UK to work in let alone to see make disciples.” (From Co-workers in Nottingham)

“We have started some groups now and made good initial contact with people. But we have been seeking God for a greater breakthrough with people that will lead to greater discipleship and multiplication. In the last month we have seen a greater focus and fruit amongst the team we are developing, we’ve baptised “M” (one week after meeting him) and are now meeting with him and his group weekly. We are following up with another group that we started around “S” (a person of peace in a rehab home) We are now starting to ask people about immediate repentance and baptism and this has led to two seperate opportunities with Dad’s in the area who want to know more about Jesus. We will begin the 7 signs of John with them”
